FEEDS RSS 2.0 Comments Introduction THE SAHAABA (Radhiallaahu Anhum) The Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) were the profound and honoured people Allah Ta'ala had chosen. The Noble Qur'an and Ahaadith are numerous exemplifying the magnificient status of this group. The magnanimous character and indisputable achievements of these valiant have been recorded in the books of Islamic history. Historians as well as Islamic scholars of every century have contributed tremendously in the Mubaarak lives of the illustrious Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum). The bond and link between Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and ourselves is this Jamaat of the Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum). The Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) gave everything including their blood for this beautiful Deen and sacrificed their entire lives for the continuity of Islam. It was through this Jamaat that we received the very teachings of the Noble Qur'an and the Shari'ah in general. It is the belief of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama'a that every Sahaaba (man and woman) were people of esteem integrity and just. The distinctive position of the Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) with regard to our opinions on them must be carefully viewed - lest to incur the wrath of Allah Ta'ala. Among other warnings, Fathul Mugheeth reports this tradition: 'When you hear of anyone talking ill of the Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum) then know that he is a Zindeeq, because the Qur'an is Truth, the Rasool is Truth and that which he brought is Truth. And all these things reached us through the Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum), so therefore whomsoever discredits or redicules anyone of them, is in actual fact attempting to reject the Qur'an and Sunnah and such a person is in reality doomed and labelled as a Zindeeq.' We make Du'a Allah Ta'ala inculcate the love of our Deen in our hearts and the love and Muhabbat of the Sahaaba (Radhiallaahu Anhum). Al-Jamiat Publications
