MANIFESTO OF LOVE

What is the true appendix of 'Ishk-e-Rasool' (Love for Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)? To unconditionally follow the Noble Sunnah of Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) then is the true manifesto of love.

Allah Ta'aala proclaims in the Noble Qurãn, 'Say (O Muhammad), if you love Allah then follow me.' (Aali Imraan 31)

Hence the condition for love is to follow. and therefore, Rasulullah (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said, 'No one from among you has complete faith until his desires confirm with that which I have brought.' (Mishkãt)

Remember! Love is not determined by the expression of ostentatious display of Ishk for publicity, but rather following the Sunnah. However simple the act may be. Indeed, the performance of a simple Sunnah is far more meritorious than speaking about ten important points of love. Of course, to speak on the true love and be pragmatic is rewarding. Therefore, the joy of Ishk can only be attained by following the Sunnah; otherwise it is nothing but lip-service and show.
