URGENT NOTICE - DAVID ICKE We are going through a period of time when Muslims have become the target of various conspiracies and plots to attack their Imaan. These attempts are made in such a subtle and deceptive form that many of our brothers and sisters are caught completely unaware. Hence, it has become our duty to immediately inform the Ummah at large should we become aware of any such devious conspiracies. The latest such attempt has come in the form of one David Icke. In order to gain a basic idea of his views and his outlook on Islam and our beloved Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), let us examine a few excerpts from his writings. A book "Robots Rebellion" by David Icke contain the following material: "Mahomet said God has also chosen him to pass on this message, and those who accepted it would be saved on Judgement day. Sound familiar? All of these apparently opposing religions (Islam, etc.) were started by Lucifer (Devil) in his many forms." (page 89) "Terrible violence became the means of advancing Mahomet's cause. He changed in character into a tyrant as his religious beliefs and a highly negative energy took him over. So what caused this sudden change? It could have been that he simply became power hungry." (page 89) "There is a great deal of good sense to be found in the Koran among all the Dross." (page 90) "I have to smile when I hear Moslem religious leaders speaking on the radio, and everytime they say 'The Prophet Mohammed' they follow immediately with 'Peace and blessing upon him'. I am all for peace and blessings on everyone, including those who Mahomet and his followers murdered in the name of God and those still kept in mental and physical bondage by Moslem fanatics today." (page 91) This individual is currently in South Africa giving lectures and seminars at which a number of his books, cassettes and videos are being sold. We have been reliably informed that a number of our people, Muslim brothers and sisters, are attending these seminars. We must strongly advise the Ummah to completely abstain from such discourses.
